Eggert Law LLP was started in 2014 by attorneys N. Charles Eggert and Lauren M. Eggert. They are dedicated to the local community and enjoy assisting with the legal needs of the area.
Charlie was born and raised on a farm outside of Waterloo. He grew up farming with his father, and he continues to assist his father as much as possible. Charlie completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and received his law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in Valparaiso, Indiana. Prior to forming Eggert Law LLP, Charlie focused on estate planning. He continues to specialize in estate planning as well as real estate and business matters. He serves as a board member of the Greater Watertown Community Health Foundation and Columbus Mutual Town Insurance Company.
Lauren is an Indiana native, and completed her undergraduate degree at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She met Charlie at Valparaiso University School of Law where she also received her Juris Doctor. Lauren practiced for three years in Indiana prior to moving to Wisconsin. She juggles many responsibilities, including managing the firm's probate and trust administrations, handling landlord and tenant matters and collections for the firm's business clients, and managing the firm.
The couple has three young sons and they enjoy spending their free time with their children and their families.
